On various Tuesdays we will teach you whatever you want to know, be it piecing, applique, quilting. Just let us know what you want to do, book in and come along with your sewing machine.

Learn all the techniques you need to start a quilt, and to finish it. From log cabin, to applique, to free motion quilting. 6 lessons run every second Monday/Tuesday/Saturday.

Sewing machine, notions, fabrics - lights and darks or contrasting fabrics eg. pinks and greens, applique paper, stitch n tear, rotary cutter, board and rulers.

6 lessons over 12 weeks. Techniques and blocks covered: paper piecing, applique, dresden plate, seminole strip, churn dash, folded star, bow tie, templates. Learn to piece, add borders and quilt.

Bring what you are working on, or start afresh. Colleen is the leading traditional embroidery teacher and runs classes twice a month at the shop.

Choose a design to work on, kits available. Incorporates needlepainting, Jacobean, goldwork and beadwork. Irene is an accomplished embroiderer and her articles often appear in the overseas embroidery magazines. We are very lucky to have her as a local teacher!
